“This heart-wrenching story has been in the news for a few weeks,” said a NY Car accident Lawyer. “These were all nice kids with bright futures and it all came to an end with one mistake,” he added.

A 20-year-old girl was driving with three passengers in her car when the tired student fell asleep, hit a tree and caused two of her good friends’ deaths.

The girls were all pledging the same sorority and were on their way to yet another pledging event when this happened. Thankfully there was no alcohol or drugs involved and therefore no DWI or drunk driving was charged.

There’s a story today about a woman involved in a crash with a truck on the highway.

This poor woman was trying to make a U-turn on the interstate where the police normally do it and drove right into the path of an 18-wheeler. She was killed instantly from the impact of the crash.

The woman had apparently been traveling to visit her family when she realized she needed to turn around for something, her family had confirmed. She apparently underestimated the speed of oncoming traffic when she tried to make that turn.

A man was killed after crossing a highway median and hitting another vehicle. The driver and a woman passenger in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries, reports a New York Injury Lawyer. The driver had been drinking prior to the accident, but law enforcement officials say that was not the cause of the accident. The reason why the man crossed the median is still under investigation.

The 81-year old man was pronounced dead at the hospital. He had been driving a Chevy Blazer. The driver and the woman passenger had been driving a Chevy Suburban. The accident occurred around 9pm on a Monday. The man in the Blazer crossed the median and hit the Suburban which was headed in the opposite direction, explains a New York Injury Lawyer. It is unclear at this time if the man had been drinking or was under the influence of drugs. Further investigation is needed to determine if the man was having a medical emergency while driving or if he simply wasn’t paying attention to where he was going at the time.

Luckily, no other vehicles were involved in the accident. According to a New York Car Accident Lawyer, police will probably interview witnesses to learn more about what happened right before and after the accident occurred. The man was alone in his vehicle and the driver and the woman were the only people in the other vehicle, so witnesses may include those driving near the vehicles or those driving by after the accident happened.

A 23 year old woman who was flying high on Methamphetamine at 67 miles per hour crashed into a California Highway Patrol officer, last June, killing him instantly, claims a New York Injury Lawyer. The accident left the family of the officer devastated, and the driver who is accused of killing the man behind bars.

This is the same as Drunk Driving. Reports obtained by authorities stated that the family of the victim is now filing civil suits against the woman in addition to the criminal charges being held against her. Police in the Bronx and Brooklyn want to make certain that they send a message that what the woman did was wrong and they state that all of the money that is won in the case will go towards helping others, in particular young people who want to become police officers.

The Lawyer also stated in his report that the widow of the officer who was killed, along with his parents, had filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the woman in addition to a complaint of personal injury and property damage. The woman who killed the officer is still in custody and could face 15 years to life in prison just from the criminal charges filed against her.

The NY City Car Accident Lawyer said that the civil cases will likely result in fines that could become quite steep. Friends and family of the officer say that he was a good man who just wanted to keep people safe. The woman is scheduled to go to trial in San Luis Obispo for her crimes.

A man driving a semi-truck hit two police patrol cars near Ritzville, Washington. No one was seriously injured, but one of the patrolmen was taken to the local hospital after suffering a few injuries, reports a NY Car Accident Lawyer. It is unclear at this time if the mechanical failure caused this accident or if the man driving the truck is to blame. There was no evidence of alcohol in the accident.

According to a Lawyer, two police patrol cars were sitting side-by-side on U.S. 395 when the accident occurred. The semi-truck went over the center divider and struck both cars. The policeman taken to the hospital has been on the police force for 19 years. The other policeman was not injured. The driver of the truck did not suffer any injuries either. The police are currently looking for any witnesses who may be able to provide additional details into how this accident occurred.

It is not uncommon for accidents like this to occur on major highways like the ones in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The truck could have blown a tire or experienced some other type of malfunction or the driver could have momentarily fallen asleep or was driving too fast. The accident happened on a Sunday around 6pm. After the accident happened, the injured policeman was airlifted to a nearby hospital where his injuries were treated. He is in satisfactory condition. The officer should be released from the hospital soon. He may or may not need additional care once he leaves the hospital. Out-patient care may be necessary depending on the extent of his injuries. In Manhattan and Queens, hospitals are equipped to handle this type of case.

Two men were injured, one of them fatally, in a recent single car accident. The young men were driving an older pickup truck when it went off the road and into a ditch. The vehicle hit a road sign when it went onto the side of the road. Police did not say if the men were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the incident or whether the vehicle had airbags.

One of the young men was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The other young man was hospitalized while receiving treatment for his injuries. His injuries were severe enough that he was later transported to a second hospital to get further treatment.

At the time of this article, the man had been released from the hospital. It was not known if he had been released by his doctor or if he had left the hospital against doctor’s orders, states a New York Car Accident Law Firm. Because of the severity of the injuries, the young man will probably require long term medical care, although the exact nature of his injuries was unknown at this time.

A pedestrian has been killed after being involved in a fatal traffic accident. Eye witnesses claim that the pedestrian ran out in front of the car. However, according to police reports obtained by the New York Car Accident Law Office, the driver of the car is thought to of been drinking before the accident occurred. It is strongly suspected that drink had a big role to play in the death of this pedestrian.

The victim was in his mid 20’s and was struck by the car as he stepped out in front of it. He has been charged by police with driving under the influence of alcohol and battery. The man has yet to be identified, but police have mentioned that he was from Hispanic descent. The name of the victim will not be released until the family has been contacted.

The accident happened during the early hours of Sunday morning at around 3 AM. The police report shows that the driver was driving along route 17 and was quite close to Gamble Road. Three people ran across the road in front of him, and one was hit. The New York Car Accident Law Office says that it’s not clear whether he would have been able to stop if he was not drunk.

A man suspected of being intoxicated while driving died after crashing his car into a pole and then a wall. After being pulled over by police, the man fled the scene and minutes later crashed the vehicle, a white Honda Civic, says a NY Car Accident Lawyer. Police did not pursue the man after he sped away. A full examination by the medical examiner will tell police more about the level of alcohol in the man’s system at the time of the accident. No one else was injured as a result of this accident.

The accident occurred shortly after midnight Sunday morning. Before the accident, police had pulled the man over after receiving a tip that a drunk driver was driving on the highway. Apparently, the man was drunk enough to catch the attention of other motorists. Police pulled the man over with the intention of determining whether the man was intoxicated. The man drove off before the police were able to question him, reports a New York Injury Attorney. The name of the driver will not be given to the media until the man’s family has been notified. It is not uncommon for the names of those involved in fatal accidents not be reported until family members have been contacted.

It is not known where the man was coming from at the time of the accident. He may have been drinking at a bar or at a party. Unfortunately, police were unable to detain the man and prevent this senseless accident. If the man had been detained, he might have been taken into custody and held until he sobered up. The man probably did not want to face the consequences of driving under the influence which could have included fines or time in prison. Drunk driving is treated very seriously in The Bronx and Brooklyn A toxicology exam will be performed to determine how much the man drank before the accident. It is unclear where the man was trying to go after he fled from police. Funeral arrangements will probably be made after the family has been notified.
