Road traffic accidents can affect anyone, even when they are doing everything they possibly can to remain safe. Sometimes the road conditions or other drivers expose even the safest of drivers to the risk of car accidents.

A policeman has been given a report caused by poor weather conditions. The driver was driving their children home from their sports game. The weather was very bad and visibility was also poor. The driver has later mentioned that the wind and rain became very heavy while driving along and that she saw the faint outline of a vehicle about to pull out to turn right. She was distracted by the conditions.

The report shows that the driver obviously tried to hit the brakes and stop, but there wasn’t enough time. The wheels locked up and the car went into a spin. This caused it to strike the truck waiting to turn right. This completely damaged the front of both vehicles. There was another vehicle in front which was also involved in the accident.

A memorial fund has been established for the family of a boy killed in a solo car accident. The boy was driving when he lost control of his car and hit a tree. The car caught on fire and it appears the boy was trapped in the car and died. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Firefighters from the nearby fire station were called to the scene as were local law enforcement officials.

Those who knew the boy held a candlelight vigil in the area where the boy died. The vigil was later moved the parking lot of the local high school because of the number of people who attended. The boy was well-liked in his high school and in the community, explains a friend. Friends, teachers and relatives spoke about the boy at the vigil. Many remembered the boy’s smile and how pleasant he was to be around. Some shared their memories while others comforted each other. It is unknown where the boy was headed when the accident occurred.

The accident happened on a Friday night around 8pm. It is unknown how long the boy had his driver’s license. Police believe the boy lost control of the red Honda he was driving and crashed into a tree. It might have been a case of distracted driving. They do not believe the boy was speeding or under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time. Law enforcement officials believe this was just a tragic accident. The boy may have momentarily taken his eyes off the road or an animal may have crossed the vehicle’s path and the boy swerved to miss it and hit the tree. Since he was the only person involved in the accident, there are few details to work with, claims a spokesperson.

There’s a story today about a woman involved in a crash with a truck on the highway.

This poor woman was trying to make a U-turn on the interstate where the police normally do it and drove right into the path of an 18-wheeler. She was killed instantly from the impact of the crash.

The woman had apparently been traveling to visit her family when she realized she needed to turn around for something, her family had confirmed. She apparently underestimated the speed of oncoming traffic when she tried to make that turn.

A man was killed after crossing a highway median and hitting another vehicle. The driver and a woman passenger in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries, reports a New York Injury Lawyer. The driver had been drinking prior to the accident, but law enforcement officials say that was not the cause of the accident. The reason why the man crossed the median is still under investigation.

The 81-year old man was pronounced dead at the hospital. He had been driving a Chevy Blazer. The driver and the woman passenger had been driving a Chevy Suburban. The accident occurred around 9pm on a Monday. The man in the Blazer crossed the median and hit the Suburban which was headed in the opposite direction, explains a New York Injury Lawyer. It is unclear at this time if the man had been drinking or was under the influence of drugs. Further investigation is needed to determine if the man was having a medical emergency while driving or if he simply wasn’t paying attention to where he was going at the time.

Luckily, no other vehicles were involved in the accident. According to a New York Car Accident Lawyer, police will probably interview witnesses to learn more about what happened right before and after the accident occurred. The man was alone in his vehicle and the driver and the woman were the only people in the other vehicle, so witnesses may include those driving near the vehicles or those driving by after the accident happened.

Anytime an 18-wheeler is involved in a car wreck, the results are never pretty, said the NY City Car Accident Lawyer. This case is a prime example of a terrible wreck that killed two elderly people; a pastor and his wife. The collision happened at an intersection and involved two semis. Somehow or other, the pastor’s vehicle was caught in between the two trucks and the truck behind them rear ended their car, causing an underride accident.

The police want to know a whole lot more about this accident and are asking anyone with any information to come forward. They want to find out if anyone saw the accident or saw the two trucks just before the accident. Given the fact that the truck behind the car rear-ended them, indicates that he was not paying attention to the road and it may also indicate he was speeding, as the force of the impact shoved the car under the truck in front, commented the New York Injury Lawyer.

Accidents like this are devastating for the family left behind and in this case, the family would likely have a solid wrongful death case to take to a personal injury lawyer. There will be other things that the police all over, including Nassau and Suffolk Counties, want to find out, including what the trucker was doing before the accident. In cases like this where a truck rear-ends another vehicle, you can count on the fact that the driver was not paying attention to driving.

A man driving a semi-truck hit two police patrol cars near Ritzville, Washington. No one was seriously injured, but one of the patrolmen was taken to the local hospital after suffering a few injuries, reports a NY Car Accident Lawyer. It is unclear at this time if the mechanical failure caused this accident or if the man driving the truck is to blame. There was no evidence of alcohol in the accident.

According to a Lawyer, two police patrol cars were sitting side-by-side on U.S. 395 when the accident occurred. The semi-truck went over the center divider and struck both cars. The policeman taken to the hospital has been on the police force for 19 years. The other policeman was not injured. The driver of the truck did not suffer any injuries either. The police are currently looking for any witnesses who may be able to provide additional details into how this accident occurred.

It is not uncommon for accidents like this to occur on major highways like the ones in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The truck could have blown a tire or experienced some other type of malfunction or the driver could have momentarily fallen asleep or was driving too fast. The accident happened on a Sunday around 6pm. After the accident happened, the injured policeman was airlifted to a nearby hospital where his injuries were treated. He is in satisfactory condition. The officer should be released from the hospital soon. He may or may not need additional care once he leaves the hospital. Out-patient care may be necessary depending on the extent of his injuries. In Manhattan and Queens, hospitals are equipped to handle this type of case.

According to a NY Car Accident Lawyer, Pete was the beloved founder of Pete’s Auto Sales, where he was known as one of the county’s finest businessmen. Peters, who was only 73, died on February 16th, due to injuries inflicted on the 3rd of February following a car accident that took place while he was commuting from Northern Virginia. The vehicle that Pete Peters was driving was intended for sale. This was not a hit and run. In Manhattan and Nassau County, Hit and runs are taken very seriously and penalties are heavy.

Next year was supposed to mark the 50 year anniversary of Pete’s business. A New York Car Accident Lawyer expands that Pete was proud of his business and was considered to be a real people person. People often stopped at Pete’s Auto Sales for advice and directions. Pete’s sister revealed that after Pete got out of the Army Reserve, his grandfather helped him start the business in 1962. A New York Injury Lawyer shares that Pete was very involved in the community, he supported the local fire-fighters, sponsored a Dixie youth baseball team, and was a very active Gideon.
