Power Disrupted by Crash on Route 67

The Oxford police department is currently investigating the cause of a car accident on Route 67, explains a witness. The accident happened when a car driver hit an electricity utility pole. This caused his car to spin off the road and ended up in a ditch off the road.

The accident occurred during the early evening at around 7:15 PM. The car lost control when it was on Route 67 and close to Brooklawn Drive. Eye witnesses say that the driver simply lost control of the car and hit a utility pole with a transformer attached. The car then spun off and landed in a ditch.

An eye witness said that as soon as the car hit the utility pole, the transformer started to spark and make loud noises. After hitting the utility pole, the car then hit a bump and flew into the air. It spun around and landed in the water in the brook.

The source said that the driver only experienced minor injuries. He was taken to Waterbury Hospital for further treatment. The driver has been identified by police and is a 30 year old from New Milford.

The police officers charged the driver for traveling at unsafe distances from other cars, driving on a suspended license and having invalid insurance. The officers also suspended the license of the driver. The police report explained that the bail limit was set at $500 and the driver is due to appear in Derby Superior Court.

The utility company has said that over 850 customers were left without power because of the accident. Engineers have since managed to repair the transformer which has restored the power to all the affected customers. Similar accidents have been reported in Queens and Staten Island.

The investigation into the cause of the accident is currently ongoing. The police are trying to find out what happened to the car which caused it to come off the road. It’s not thought that alcohol was to blame, however, it’s expected that excessive speed and unsafe driving practices were the reasons for the accident. Police have said that the driver was driving too close to other vehicles.

Crash Kills Man from South Brunswick

A man has lost his life in an accident which also left four other people seriously injured. The accident involved three cars and was a serious car accident, explains a Lawyer.

The 51 year old man was killed at the scene of the accident before the emergency services could arrive. The other four people were seriously injured and needed medical treatment in hospital. The accident happened during Sunday afternoon.

The source who is from Queens and Staten Island reads from the report which says the accident occurred close to Woodlot Park. This accident forced police officers to shut down New Road from Wheeler to Route 1 for the rest of the afternoon.

The victims of the accident were trapped inside their vehicles. The rescue teams needed to work for 45 minutes to cut the roofs off the cars and remove the people. The four people who were still alive were taken straight to Robert Wood Johnson university Hospital. Some of these people were considered to be in a critical condition.

Two young children were involved in the accident. Both the parent and the children were taken to the university hospital for treatment. The family were treated and released on Sunday. The police said that it’s fortunate the children were in car seats and strapped securely in the car. If they weren’t strapped in then the accident could have been much worse.

The police report that one driver was traveling along New Road in an eastbound direction. Eye witnesses have explained that the driver was traveling faster than he should have been and overtaking many vehicles. When he attempted to return to his lane he hit another car.

The impact caused the cars to be pushed off the road and into a hydrant; tree and pole at the side of the road. The cars slid sideways along the road which then crashed into several other vehicles on the way.

The police are currently still investigating the cause of the crash, the exact cause of the accident remains unknown. The accident required the attention of the Fire department, police, Monmouth first aid crew and the Medical Examiner’s Office.

Speeding Mother Kills Children

In a tragic car accident, two young children were killed. The accident happened because their mother was speeding and lost control of her vehicle. The car crashed resulting in the deaths of the two young children, explains a witness.

The children who died were brother and sister. They were 18 months old and 4 years old respectively. Neither of the children was strapped into car seats which are thought to be the main reason why they died instantly at the crash.

The crash occurred on the Dubai-Hatta Road and has shocked the local community. Many drivers speed through this popular cut through, and the fact that the children were not adequately restrained lead to tragic consequences.

Two other siblings were also in the vehicle at the same time. While these suffered serious injuries they were able to be treated. The mother and two other women passengers only had minor injuries.

This is a vital reminder to drivers in Staten Island and Westchester about how dangerous it can be to speed and not wear seat belts or child restraints. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that children are correctly secured into vehicles before setting off.

The crash investigations are currently ongoing. It is likely that the mother will be charged with dangerous driving. However, the police suspect that they will go easy on her because of the loss of loved family members.

The local community was left shocked at the fact that two young children died for no reason. Many people are campaigning to make it illegal not to use child seats in the UAE like it is in other parts of the world such as the US. Many people in the country do not strap their children into car seats properly and this causes many accidents and deaths.

The mother lost control of the car when it crossed the center of the road and ran into a large off road vehicle. This caused the car to flip. The two young children died at the scene and their sister and brother sustained serious injuries. The housemaids also sustained minor injuries along with the mother.

The mother was arrested for the offense but has since been released on bail.

South Carolina Police Chief killed in car crash

The Police Chief of Columbia, South Carolina was killed in a car crash Sunday and will be missed by all.

"Capers Wannamaker loved the people of Calhoun County, not just the city because he was police chief but the whole county in general, he just loved people, his brother-in-law said at the funeral," revealed a relative. "He was the type to just go out of his way for anyone."

The chief had leaded his department for more than a decade and had served in the army and at another Sheriff Department prior to taking the job. This was a man who said he wanted to make a difference, and according to all of his family and friends – he did, continued the witness.

His police officers said it was just in his blood and he loved it, he went on to say. Reports said the 60-year-old chief’s car was out of control, drove off the road and hit a tree this past weekend. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Friends described the chief as a family man, who left behind a wife, son, daughter and four grandchildren.

One man at the funeral said that he just loved his kids, and he would call his brother and sister-in-law and say “I've got something on the grill y'all come on down I'm feeding everybody!” It sounded like he was just that type. He was described as loving to cook and being a good cook.

The family’s home took on a steady group of visitors all day Saturday and all offered their support to the family.

The man at the funeral was quoted saying "I would want people to remember that the chief was fair and honest and a very compassionate person and that he was a great father, husband, and most of all he was more than a brother-in-law to me, he was a big brother.”

Car accidents are common events and in Queens and Staten Island distracted driving is often the cause of the accident.

Car Chase Results in Five Injuries

A recent car accident in Pierceton required the help of MedShore and firefighters to free the victims of the crash. The accident occurred on SC 81 just above Interstate 85.

The Anderson Police department has released a report which says the driver was trying to get away from a deputy of the sheriff’s department. In doing so the driver was driving very dangerously and cut in front of another car. This caused a head on collision which injured five people, said the spokesman.

The 28 year old who is alleged to of driven away from police and caused the accident is now behind bars. He has been charged with a number of counts including, driving on a suspended license, failing to stop for the police, reckless driving and endangerment.

It has been discovered that the 28 year old does have a criminal history. He has been charged with many offences over the years.

The sheriff’s office attempted to stop the car because of a traffic violation. When the police attempted to pull the driver over, he just put his foot down and went very quickly. He tried to weave in and out of traffic in order to get away.

At about 1:15 PM the deputy had to give up chasing the suspect because the traffic was becoming very heavy and it would have been dangerous. Instead he patrolled the area and after around 10 minutes found the wrecked car.

Five people involved in the accident were injured. This included a 17 year old in the front passenger seat of one vehicle. All of the injured people involved in the car accident were transferred to hospital. Those with serious injuries were taken to AnMed and those with less serious to Greenville Hospital.

A reporter has learned about the man’s criminal history. It seems that under a month ago he was charged with possessing a pistol, driving while on a suspended license and possessing narcotics in Westchester and Staten Island. He was in jail for these offences until fairly recently. He was released when he paid the $10,000 bail, only to go on to cause this traffic accident and endanger life.

Cause of deadly car crash is still unknown

Three cars were involved in a deadly car crash Monday, said a NYC Car Accident Lawyer.
The driver, who allegedly caused the crash, might have been driving down the wrong side of the road. He apparently was distracted and hit a truck head on and was able to get himself out of the vehicle before it burst into flames.
Sadly, this man still didn’t survive the crash despite his escape. Local residents saw a large flame rising from the road and called 911.
“I always see it on TV, but I’ve never seen anything like that so close,” said one woman. “I was horrified! I mean there are so many accidents on this road. It’s terrible. People just drive too fast and they don’t pay attention,” a witness explained.
Lawyers found that the other people involved in the crash were taken to a local hospital and sustained minor injuries.
When police arrived at the scene, they observed they were frantically looking for the driver of the truck in flames. He was finally found 30 yards down the road where he had freed himself to safety.
Police were looking inside the vehicle trying to see if they had an operator and they located him down the road about 30 yards. He had freed himself from the truck, wandered away, thankfully before the truck really went up.
The road had to be closed for close to three hours while police and road officials worked to reconstruct the accident.
One of the officer’s at the scene said, “It’s too bad. It’s sad when someone’s life is gone.” The NYC Injury Lawyer went on to report that the names of the people involved in the accident had not yet been released and the police plan to talk with them about any details they might remember about the accident.
“Pinpointing the cause of this type of accident can be very difficult due to the fire and heavy flames that were involved. We are hopeful that the people involved in the crash or witnesses in residing in the area will be able to shed some light on the situation,” said a local police investigator. Police in Staten Island and Westchester County would handle it the same way.
