Elderly Drivers Have Experience but Lack Attentiveness, reports New York Car Accident Lawyer

As we age, our facilities begin to decline at a pretty rapid pace, at least for some of us. Within just a few short months we can find ourselves unable to read the fine print on a can of soup where just a few weeks earlier we could get there if we squinted. Our memories begin to blur, and we have difficulty recalling names of people we have known for twenty years or more. This is part of the normal aging process, reports one New York Car Accident Lawyer, but what effect does aging have upon our driving?

Last week a 92 year old woman lost control of her car and flipped it into a ditch. She was non-responsive when medical personnel reached her and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, reports from a New York Injury Lawyer said. No one knows exactly what happened to the woman or why she lost control of her vehicle.

A New York Car Accident Lawyer suggests that the aging process may indeed have a debilitating effect upon our driving skills. Elderly people tend to be more absent minded and also tend to startle more easily. Though it is speculation at this point, pending further details about this particular case, it is fair to suggest that one of these scenarios could have occurred just moments before the woman lost control of her vehicle.

While lack of attentiveness during driving is not reserved for just the elderly, according to a New York Injury Lawyer, the physical decline that our bodies face as we age is a serious risk, and one that we have little control over, unlike emotional factors such as mood and attitude.

If you have been involved in an accident that resulted in injuries to you or to others, please call a reputable, knowledgeable New York Injury Attorney or New York Car Accident Attorney today and find out what needs to be done.

Three Car Collision Shuts Down Interstate, Reports New York Car Accident Lawyer

Early morning commuter traffic is usually fairly predictable. Living in the city means that if we even drive, the closer in we get, the closer we are to getting stuck. Millions of commuters drive into the city for work every morning, says a New york Car Accident Lawyer. The crashes that we see run the gamut from being small nuisances to horribly traumatic tragedies. Officials say the best they can hope for is the minor nuisance where each parties insurance companies are contacted and they both drive off.

Last week the early morning commuters got a little less predictability when their morning rush hour turned into a multiple car pile up that injured five people and involved three separate collisions. According to a New York Injury Lawyer who was on the case, the sequence of crashes began when the driver of a Ford Mustang collided with an SUV. The SUV ended up crossing into the left lane and was then struck by a Toyota RAV4, creating yet another tailspin on the opposite side of the road.

Reports from the New York Car Accident Lawyer said that basically no one was seriously injured in the series of collisions, though there were some minor facial cuts and scrapes and a small child, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, had a possible broken leg. Everyone left the scene of that accident without having to be admitted into the hospital. For many, they went home that night and counted their blessings, because they know how much worse it could have been.

A New York Injury Lawyer is aware of all of the dynamics that can occur in an auto accident. A good one has the knowledge necessary to restore your life. Call a New York Injury Lawyer today.

The last month of the year is a blur for most of us as the holiday season gets underway and we start planning parties and dinners and gifts and festivities. According to a New York Car Accident Lawyer, we get ramped up for celebration right around the beginning of December, and that changes our habits. In some tragic instances, it changes everything.

Reports by a New York Injury Lawyer state that a married couple from Illinois were on their way home from a party one bitter night in early December. The snow limited the visibility from within the car and the husband could not see what was in front of him. He lost control of the vehicle and struck a light pole in the middle of the night on a quiet snow covered road. The husband was killed instantly, but the wife was nowhere to be found. People on the scene said that the only evidence they had that remained of her was a shoe and a bit of fabric from the dress that she was known to have been wearing at the party.

The New York Car Accident Lawyer later announced that it had been revealed that the couple had four children. Obviously the death of one parent and the disappearance of the other right before Christmas is something no child deserves to experience and in that sense is utterly incomprehensible. But when the news came that their Mom had been found, the news was bad, as the body of the woman was located in a field several miles away from the site of the crash.

People speculate that in her disoriented state that the went looking for help, but she was so confused and shocked that she just kept on walking, according to a New York Injury Lawyer with experience in this type of case. It was extremely unfortunate for her and for her children that she did not find help on that terrible night. It really isn't all about the party. It is about the people in our lives, the ones we leave at home so we can go to the party, that matter the most.

Crash sends one to Hospital, Driver Flees, Says New York Car Accident Lawyer

All across the country there are incidents where people cause damage and injury with their vehicles and then flee the scene out of fear, reports a New York Car Accident Lawyer. While most of us would never run away, there are some people who panic and let their fear take over. This always results in more difficulties than it offers solutions.

A New York Injury Lawyer report cites an incident last week in New Hampshire. A man lost control of his Saturn and veered across the center line into oncoming traffic, which happened to be a Buick containing two individuals. The driver of the Buick proceeded to lose control of the vehicle, landing himself in a ditch. Both driver and passenger were later transported to the hospital with minor injuries and then released.

The man in the Saturn who caused the accident was never found. Police in New Hampshire are still searching for him. He apparently pulled the car into a parking spot on the street and then fled in fear, and he is still at large, says the New York Car Accident Lawyer. More investigation will be necessary.

A New York Injury Lawyer that could be reached for comment had indicated that the driver of the Buick was not being faced with any charges, and that it was hoped that the person responsible for the crash would be found and brought to justice. If you are ever involved in a car crash, it is imperative that you remain at the scene of the accident and do not leave. In the end, it is the most responsible thing to do, though in the moment it may seem to be one of the most difficult.

Driving Tired Could Be The Last Thing You Do, Warns New York Car Accident Lawyer

Driving while tired or physically exhausted is dangerous and could kill you or some one you love. There can be nothing more tragic or more easily remedied if people would just pace themselves and get enough sleep. According to a New York Car Accident Lawyer it happens often. One moment a late night driver is staring at the lines in the dark whizzing past on the road and the next he open his eyes, not entirely sure how far he has driven or for how long.

Studies by a New York Injury Lawyer say that these situations are precursors to serious accidents and that they should be avoided by refusing to drive when you start nodding off. Pull over. You cannot go on. Sleep in a grocery store parking lot if you have to. Over the new year there was a mother who was driving her entire family through the New Mexico night. So in an instant the lives of a husband, a wife and three children were forever changed as the woman lost control of her vehicle, which flipped and rolled across the pavement, killing her ten year old son and injuring her other family members.

This could have been prevented, insists a New York Car Accident Lawyer. Responsibility and being open to change your plans and take a nap rather than try to struggle on are key factors in how this tragedy could have been prevented. And perhaps what is even more important is awareness. The awareness of one persons tragedy will remind others who are in similar situations and in this way, maybe someone close to them pulls over one night instead of trudges through, even though it makes them forty minutes late.

Saving lives and avoiding injury is what is most important, insists the New York Car Accident Lawyer. Taking proper steps and responsibility for our families safety, and anyone who is in the car while we are driving, is a drivers biggest and most important task. Avoiding alcohol and physical exhaustion behind the wheel is imperative. Anything that slows you down and dulls your senses will impair your ability to react behind the wheel.

Automobile accidents change lives. If you or someone you know has been involved in a car crash and you need representation, then call a New York Car Accident Attorney immediately to begin your case. They will help and support you.

Basketball is a team sport that requires perseverance, determination, strength, speed, skill and stamina. Millions of fans across the country feel the rush of the game on the screen and in person, according to a New York Injury Lawyer, and its competitive

The New Year brings a new cycle of events. It is like starting the wheel of time all over again and wondering what will pop up on the clock of events this year that we have not yet experienced. People get excited at the possibilities. People make new starts, according to a New York Injury Lawyer, and sometimes those new endeavors land them in the hospital, or worse.

Some people start new careers, people like a young Florida woman who had recently moved to Miami to study the culinary arts, according to a New York Car Accident Lawyer on the scene. She was having an excellent New Year, until the early morning hours of January 2, when the vehicle that she was traveling in with three other people was hit by a driver who had run a red light. Imagine the terror of that moment. Time stops, sounds amplify, chaos is evident and fear is at its peak.

When the noises of twisting metal had silenced and the wreckage had settled into its final stopping place, the morning hours had gone from peaceful and routine to electrified and eerie. Two people had died, and one of them was a beautiful 19 year old student who had just arrived to live her new life in a new city in a new year, according to the New York Injury Lawyer that was close to the case.

People who knew the young culinary student are shocked that her life was cut short on a routine ride to school by a misstep that never should have happened in the first place. Street lights are there for a reason, insists a New York Car Accident Lawyer. They are there for the safety of all drivers and passengers. they offer a thin web of control and safety if we obey them, but it only takes a smigeon of poor judgment or neglect to cause horrific damage.

Automobile accidents are common, especially in densely populated areas. If you have been in an automobile accident you may call either a New York Car Accident Attorney or a New York Injury Attorney to find support in your case. All it takes is one phone call to get your life back to normal.

Irony of Victory Overshadows the Tragedy of Defeat, Reports One New York Car Accident Lawyer

Basketball is a team sport that requires perseverance, determination, strength, speed, skill and stamina. Millions of fans across the country feel the rush of the game on the screen and in person, according to a New York Injury Lawyer, and its competitive team spirit makes it one of our most beloved past times. And so it was for a Florida man and his date who were driving home late one night after a victorious win by the Orlando Magic.

The Magic had played a great game and the couple were cruising down I-4 on a high that only a win can give, says the New York Car Accident Lawyer who was close to the scene. Sadly, even the high of the win cannot fend off the most unwelcome of guests, that of tragedy. As the driver tried to pass another vehicle he lost control of his car and ended up in the center grass median.

The grass medians are effective at stopping accidents from becoming multiple car accidents, according to a New York Injury Lawyer that is familiar with such things. The medians often contain cable fences that prohibit cars from continuing into oncoming traffic. The night of the accident, those cables did their job, except for the fact that they caused the sports fans vehicle to flip over in the grass.

Reports by the New York Injury Lawyer say that the injuries that the man sustained when the car flipped were severe enough that he was pronounced dead at the scene, although his passenger only suffered minor injuries. The wheel of life is as unscrupulous as it is unexpected. The best night we have ever had can also be our last. That is the irony life and perhaps one of the greatest reasons why we should really learn to enjoy it.

Not everyone will be involved in a crash in their lives, but studies show that there is a fairly high percentage that one day we will suffer an auto accident. Will you know what to do? Call a reputable New York Injury Attorney or a New York Car Accident Attorney today. they will assist you and make sure that your rights are being upheld.

Man Crashes Into Fire Truck

They wake up every day and put their literal lives on the line. They sleep at the station, allow themselves to be waken up by barking dogs and whining alarms, and at a moments notice strap on nearly one hundred pounds of fire resistant rubber, plastic, and other gear, says a New York Injury Lawyer. They hop on to the back of a massive fire truck and hold on tight as the great machine rips through town. Best case scenario, these every day fire fighters arrive at the scene of a burning out of control blazing building and rush in with nothing more than an ax and bucket of water. Worst case scenario: they never make it there, notes a New York Car Accident Lawyer. And that's what happened this time.

We've all seen fire trucks run through town. And we all know what to do: slow down, pull over to the side of the road, stop our cars, maybe say a little prayer that but for the grace of God goes I, and be thankful to the brave men and women who chose to be fire fighters. But one selfish, unthinking, stupid, foolish boar of a man did not do this, reports a New York Injury Lawyer. Where he saw the world slowing down, he thought he was better and could speed up. And so he did. He forcefully pressed the accelerator down and barreled through the intersection, says a New York Car Accident Lawyer. He drove his car as fast as he could - right until he slammed in to the side of the fire truck, T Boning the massive engine. And because of his mistake, three people have been injured.

Most parents have nightmares about their young adult children getting into gruesome car crashes, especially when they can be terribly injured or in some cases killed. Police still don’t know the cause of a four car wreck that injured nine, reported a New York Car Accident Lawyer

Some days, it doesn’t pay to get out of bed. Some days you figure things will be ok and then, when you least expect it, you get into an accident and sustain some fairly serious injuries, commented the New York Car Accident Lawyer.
Take this case for an example. This was a four car wreck that ended up injuring nine people, some seriously. They never figured their day would end up with them being in hospital. When the EMS crews arrived on the scene, they sorted out the mess as best they could and took the most seriously injured to the nearest hospital.
This was a head-on wreck, with one person being ejected from a vehicle. Her injuries were considered to be life-threatening. Two other victims, a 60-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were taken to the nearest shock trauma center and admitted with non-life threatening injuries, reported the New York Car Accident Lawyer. One three year old little girl went to a children’s facility for care. Her injuries were listed as non-life threatening.
There is no clear indication if alcohol was a factor in this case and the police will be conducting a further investigation into the wreck. Speed may have played a factor and they will also want to determine if the at-fault driver was driving while distracted. They will be several people wanting to speak to a New York Car Accident Lawyer about compensation for their medical and other expenses.

Four Men Injured In Car Crash, reports New York Injury Lawyer

At one thirty eight in the morning, with dawn still hours away, four college men were involved in a startling car wreck. According to a New York Injury Lawyer, the four men were all riding together in an automobile when the sports utility vehicle suddenly hit a wall. The wall was one mile from a local university where it is believed the men attended school. The man driving the sports utility vehicle had to be ripped from the vehicle using hydraulic cutters before being taken by helicopter to the local hospital. With ribs that were broken and internal bleeding coming from locations unknown, the man was whisked through the air so doctors could perform life saving procedures on him, reported a New York Car Accident Lawyer. At last check the man was listed as being in critical condition.

The man's passengers fared better but in this case better is truly measured on a sliding scale. Passenger number one suffered the cruel fate of having both his legs broken, snapped, and injured, said a New York Injury Lawyer. Passenger number two has both his legs working but he's hardly in a better condition as he found himself with a pelvis that had been cracked. Passenger number three was the lucky one, if there are any who can truly be considered lucky in such an accident, as his injuries stopped at just one broken leg.

A New York Car Accident Lawyer reports that police are currently conducting an investigation into the crash itself. Police have yet to determine whether or not the sports utility vehicle was traveling in excess of the posted speed limit. The police investigation also extends to learning whether or not alcohol was involved.

At Last, Montana Addresses Drinking and Driving, a New York Car Accident Lawyer Reports

It wasn’t uncommon for someone in Montana to be able to have a beer while driving down the interstate a high speeds, reports a New York Car Accident Lawyer. In fact, it was legal to drink and drive in many places in Montana until 2005. A few years before there, there was no speed limit on major highways or rural roads.
The high profile death of a highway patrolman who was killed by a drunk driver spurred the change in Montana law to outlaw drinking and driving. New York Injury Lawyers have learned that judges are becoming stricter and law enforcement is looking for new ways to make sure repeat offenders are not a danger to others.
There are still some small town bars that will give out cocktails in to-go cups and repeat drunken drivers are often processed through the system before they are even sober.
“There is significant anti-government sentiment which spills over into impaired driving enforcement,” a representative for Mothers Against Drunk Driving told a New York Car Accident Lawyer. “Rather than praising public safety officers for keeping our highways safe, I have heard legislators berate them for bothering drivers.”
